Spirit of Nature Thumbhole Address Book

Spirit of Nature Thumbhole Address Book Review

I have been looking for a new address book for years, as my old one continued to deteriorate. This is compact, beautiful, extremely simple and elegant, and efficient with room for many entries and no pages of extras that add weight. I like that it can be secured shut with the elastic band. This authentic range of stationery takes inspiration from sumi-e, the ancient art of Japanse brush painting. Takamasa Ono perfectly captures the traditional subject matter of sumi-e, the environment, and his evocative pictures represent the essence of the natural world, with all its beauty and tranquility.

History Is the Home Address

History Is the Home Address Review

Told in the form of a single epic poem, this dialogue between two lovers investigates the impact of some of the most tragic events in African history on modern African consciousness. Colonialization, slavery, oppression, apartheid, racism, and the AIDS epidemic are all addressed by the poem's intertwining voices that draw fascinating conclusions. Making powerful statements both politically and personally, this is an important contribution to African poetry, conveyed in a remarkably unconventional manner.

Canoeist's Q & A: Questions and Answers How-To Books Can't Address (Canoeing how-to) Review

I am in my second childhood when it comes to canoes. Did not care about them until a few years back with I traded my desire for speed and action for serenity. For me canoeing helps me find serenity. This was a good book for the novice canoeist. I enjoyed it and plan to save it for future refernece.
Also if you are interested in any outdoor activites. Cliff Jacobson is a wonderful outdoorsman. He loves the outdoors and enjoys teaching others.
A unique approach to teaching canoeing skills, this book describes 25 actual incidents that occurred on canoe trips--from life-threatening health emergencies to inclement weather, poor canoeing practices to ethical dilemmas. Each scenario poses a problem that the reader is invited to solve. The solutions aren't obvious, and each incident will help the reader analyze and deal with real-life problems encountered on canoe trips.
